The sad news is that recycling is no longer possible!
I found Harmon Transfer Station after a long time.
This is where you can dispose of Household trash, Bulky waste, Household hazardous waste and RECYCLE (FREE OF CHARGE).


However, because of COVID-19, they are no longer collecting recyclables.
Containers are full of recyclables, but they can't be taken out, so they keep them.


The Harmon Transfer Station representative told me not to collect the recyclables in the house, but to dispose of them as general waste.
If you look closely at the photo below, you can see that the plastic water bottle is full.
These are plastic water bottles that were collected before COVID-19, but the containers are still there.

It is said that the use of single-use items is increasing due to COVID-19, but it is really a big deal to have to throw away even recyclable items as general waste.
Due to COVID-19, not only our bodies and minds, but also the planet is going through a difficult time.
